Forza Horizon 6 arrives on PC on May 19th, Alongside the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 versions.
Last September, at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, Playground Games finally unveiled Forza Horizon 6, which succeeds Forza Horizon 5, launched five years earlier.
It's fair to say that Playground Games has kept us waiting, with extremely limited press coverage and just a few illustrations to tide fans over. But here we are, all the essential information is now out.
Release date set for May 19th, Playground Games specifically stated that Japan was chosen in response to persistent community demand.
The lead designer explained: "With this combination of verticality, glass, neon signs, and advertisements of all kinds, Tokyo allowed us to create an ultra-dense space, unprecedented in the series […] It's the most radically different and visually striking environment we've ever designed for a Horizon game."
At launch, there are already 550 cars, with a list publicly released by the developers on the official website. However, be aware that some will only be available through additional "packs," following the popular trend of DLC. Here again, Playground Games is being transparent, with the DLC and different editions of the game available now.
It's possible to pre-order Forza Horizon 6 Standard Edition for €69.99, but you can also opt for the Deluxe (€99.99) and Premium (€119.99) editions to get more content and even play earlier than others: the Premium version will grant access to the game four days before other players, starting May 15th.
Finally, and most importantly, Playground Games has released the very first information regarding the minimum system requirements for playing the game on PC.
